Looking for better health? Start here!

You feel pretty healthy, right? No major worries.

Just a bit tired at the end of the day? A bit achy? Fitness flagging a little? Carrying a few extra pounds?

Digestion a little sluggish? But no major worries right?

Because overall you’d say you’re healthy, enough. Or maybe not…

The World Health Organization defines health as:

“…a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease.”

So now do you feel healthy?

With the right foods you can heal your body so you can experience physical well-being, which in turn will promote your mental and social well-being.

I have been where you are now, eating processed foods just because I was too busy to cook and didn’t know how well I could REALLY feel. Now, as a qualified Nutritional Therapist, I teach others how to choose delicious, healthy foods that help them thrive.

If the food in the video has whetted your appetite, find out how to make it for yourself;  the smoothie recipe here and the salad recipe here.

But before you grab your apron and mixing bowl, stick with me a little longer to discover how Nutritional Therapy can unlock your inner vitality.

Science Meets Naturopathy

Nutritional Therapy takes a holistic approach, meaning we look at the whole body rather than just individual symptoms. The scientific disciplines of biochemistry and nutrition are combined with the ethos of naturopathy (healing through the use of natural, drug-free medicine) to promote physical and mental wellbeing, as well as peak physical performance. And it is Personalised Nutritiona treatment solution designed just for you.

With the right nutrition you can feel more vital than you ever have before.

You Could Feel Better

As I said, I’ve been where you are now. It’s not that you’re ill, but you know you could definitely feel better.

Maybe you’re tired of doing battle with those extra few pounds that no diet seems to shift?

Or you’re tired of munching on chocolate for an evening pick-me-up, then beating yourself up about it later?

Or you’re tired of the pain, bloat and discomfort after eating?

Or maybe you’re just tired…

Become Your Own Nutritional Investigator

With my help and support, you can learn how to be your own nutritional investigator. I will teach you how to identify the nutrients your body needs, and how to prepare the foods that deliver them. At the end of the day only you will know what works best for you, but we will figuring it out together. I will help you make the leap from thinking about to change to implementing it.

Straightforward Nutrition is about eating well in a simple honest way. Choosing foods which are wholesome, taste great and are nourishing on every level.

The recipes you’ll find here are made with just a couple of basic ingredients, as close to nature as possible, yet deliver delicious flavour and powerful nutrition. I don’t advocate any particular diet (other than one which is based on good wholesome quality ingredients). My job is to help you figure out which style of eating and what foods work for you. Together we will then make sure this style of eating fits your everyday life.

What foods will bring you back to your amazing self?

My food philosophy is about abundance.

Keep it varied, eat what makes you feel good and make sure your food choices are based on foods which will nourish your body AND satisfy your soul.

There are no “good” or “bad” foods.

There are foods which make you FEEL great. And foods which makes you feel sluggish, tired, bloated and miserable. You have the power to choose which ones you put into your body.

With my help you can make changes gradually and enjoy the experimentation and exploration that comes with a Nutritional Therapy approach to food.

Welcome to the way of eating for health that you and your body are designed for!

I’m not going to promise you a new or better you. You’re wonderful already. You just got a little neglected between work, children and all the other things we call life…

So what we’re going to do, is rediscover you!

Rediscover your pleasure in eating good food.

Rediscover the energy and vitality you enjoyed when you were younger.

Rediscover what it feels like to put yourself first and make healthy choices that promote your own well-being.

And believe me, I know it can be hard to put yourself first like that. Which is why I’m here to help you.

I’d love you to take a look around the website, get to know me better and see what services I offer, and you’re more than welcome to jump right in and contact me here.
