– A Six Month Binge Eating Support Programme
It is possible to not feel crazy and overwhelmed about food and eating.
Do you feel like all you think about is food? And when you are not thinking about it you are finding yourself eating in secret because you feel shame about what you are eating?
You find yourself “starting again” every Monday, only to binge eat again a few days later when life becomes too stressful?
Welcome, you are in the right place. And it doesn’t have to be this way.
– You were done with diets and dieting?
– You could eat and nourish your body from a place of self-care?
– Feel happy and confident in your body as it is?
– Be free from food obsession?
– Drastically reduce binge eating episodes?
– Enjoy movement and exercise without feeling you have to shrink your body?
There is hope
Things can change, that it is possible to get to a point where food, eating and weight is not something that is continuously preoccupying your mind.
Maybe you’ve spent thousands of hours and euros on different diets, only to find that though things might feel momentarily better, you inevitably find yourself back in the same place you had promised yourself you had left behind for good.
Can I tell you a secret? The reason you feel like a failure is because diets set us up to fail. It was never about your lack of willpower. In fact I bet you have a lot more of it than most. Our bodies were never made to sustain famines forever. Your body is designed to try and keep you alive.
This is why dieting will never be the answer to heal emotional eating or binge eating. What we need is to learn to care for ourselves with kindness and compassion. To make food choices from a place of self care and to meet our emotional needs with a wide variety of tools and support.
I have been where you are
I spent a big part of my life obsessing over food and my body. The scales were what determined my happiness (and my self-worth). I was either on a diet, thinking about a new diet or binged on food. It seemed really difficult to find any middle ground in the madness. It was either all or nothing. And I felt miserable.
It was my disordered relationship with food that led me towards a career change and to study nutrition. In 2010 I became a qualified Nutritional Therapist and I have not stopped learning ever since.
I believe that we deserve to live a life free from food obsession and at peace with our bodies. A life where we are taking care of the bodies we have right now, in ways that feels good. Behaviours that are rooted in compassionate self-care, not some arbitrary diet culture BS.
Recovery from binge eating is possible and I am here to support you all the way.
Are you ready for a different approach?
This Six Month Binge Eating Support Programme offers just that.
We will cover:
- Nutrition, to make sure that your body is getting what it needs
- Attuned Eating, so that you can learn to trust and honour your hunger and fullness cues
- Breaking free from Diet Culture and the old diet rules that keeps you stuck in the diet-binge cycle
- Moving away from the All or Nothing thinking
- Letting go of old beliefs and patterns
- Body image and body trust
- Self compassion practices to quiet that inner critic
Each person’s journey are different and my approach is always to try and centre your needs and to meet you where you are at.
How Does It Work?
The full six month binge eating support programme consists of 15 one to one sessions (virtually via Zoom).
Usually we start with the one session per week for the first 5 weeks and then moving on to a session every other week. This is to get momentum in your recovery journey.
Each session is 1h. In between sessions you will be working on taking steps towards a life free from food and weight obsession, using tools and practices which we have together decided makes sense for you. You will also have access to me via email in between sessions. Plus access to online educational material.
Investment for full programme: €1499 or six monthly instalments of €250

What People Say…!
” I have really enjoyed my learning experience , with Linn. I feel like I have a fresh, kinder and more patient perspective on how I am im proving my health. Thanks Linn”.
“Linn is patient, kind and informative. For me she created a non-judgmental, safe environment during our sessions which allowed me to discuss my issues whilst also exploring potential remedies. I cannot recommend her enough, she was excellent in helping me.
” I now trust my body, with my emotions, with my hunger and with food. This is a revelation and something that has enhanced my life no end!”
Will I lose weight on this programme?
Who knows? This is not a weight loss programme, we will not be placing focus on intentionally losing weight as dieting is often a big part of what drives binge eating. Your body will land where it is comfortable when adequately nourished. Many participants find that at the end of the journey they are happy in themselves in ways that are less connected to what they look like and equipped with skills to nourish their body so that it will fuel their life.
Will I have to follow a food plan?
No. But if you want support with structure around meals, recipe ideas etc. we can definitely work on that 😊
I am curious about intuitive eating and non-diet approaches, but I am conflicted because I still really want to lose weight, is this for me?
Yes most definitely. It is ok to want to lose weight. Most of us have internalised the beauty ideals of the culture we live in. I cannot guarantee where your body will land so only you can know what is most important to you.
I have been diagnosed with an eating disorder, is this programme for me?
Well it depends… It depends what type of eating disorder as this particular programme is aimed towards those who are struggling with binge eating and not for someone with a predominantly restrictive ED. It will also depend on the severity and what other support (healthcare and other) that you also have in place. I do offer 1:1 nutrition counselling sessions that may be a better fit for you.
Do you offer concession rates?
Yes I have a limited number of concession places available for suitable applicants. Please contact me for more info.
Linn Thorstensson is a Non Diet Nutritional Therapist who offers nutritional counselling to folx who struggle with their relationship to food, eating and their body.
I strive to practice from a Health At Every Size, trauma informed and social justice lens. (I am however human and won’t always get it right!).
In my work I draw on a multitude of modalities, such as Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness and mindful eating, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Neuroscience, Somatic practices and Nutritional Therapy. However the intention is to work with my clients in a person centred way. This means that every persons programme and journey will be unique.
I also actively engage in continued education and ongoing supervision.
Beyond that I lean on my own recovery, self development work, therapy and of course each and every client I have worked with in the past who have taught me much beyond what the textbooks ever could!
But most of all I am here to listen and guide you on your journey to make peace with food, eating and your body.
